About Me (and the tiny world of Tiny Whispers)

Hello lovely — I’m Vikki, the creator of Tiny Whispers. 💛

I make cosy colouring books, gentle little characters, and calm pages designed to help you slow down, breathe out, and feel a tiny bit more human again.

Tiny Whispers is run from my little home in the UK (usually with a cup of tea in one hand and a cat trying to sit on my work in the other). It’s a small business with a big heart — and it started in a way I never expected.

How Tiny Whispers began

Tiny Whispers really began with grief.

When my mum passed away suddenly, I felt completely lost. My world was just… grief. Heavy, foggy, and full of that strange silence that comes after someone you love is gone. I didn’t know what to do with myself, so I did what I’ve always done when life feels too loud — I escaped into creating.

That’s when I first started drawing Fox & Prickle in memory of my mum, because she loved foxes and hedgehogs (she loved all wildlife, really). And then something magical happened… those characters didn’t just distract me — they comforted me. They gave me a soft place to go when everything felt hard.

That was the seed. 🌿

And Tiny Whispers grew from there.

A little bit about me

I struggle with my mental health a lot, and as someone who is autistic, I face many challenges — especially while running a business. But running my own business has always been my dream. Tiny Whispers is proof (to me, as much as anyone) that even when life is messy, and even when your brain makes things harder than they “should” be… you can still create something beautiful.

Colouring and drawing became my therapy — especially during anxious days, low days, and those long nights when sleep doesn’t come. At first it was just a hobby… then it became a lifeline… and eventually it became Tiny Whispers.

What I create (and why)

Tiny Whispers is all about softness.

It’s for the people who love cute things.

For the people who need calm.

For the people whose brains don’t switch off.

For the people who feel a bit wobbly sometimes (hi, same).

My books are filled with cosy, whimsical scenes and characters you’ll probably get attached to like they’re real (they are real… in my head 😅).

  • Honey Bear & Bee – best friends, honey hunts, and wholesome woodland comfort

  • Fox & Prickle – gentle friendship, cosy forests, and a little piece of my mum’s spirit

  • Sugar Plum Fairy Fuzz – a tiny bear fairy with glittery wings and moonlit adventures

  • Marmalade Mouse – tiny mouse, big world, endless snacks

  • Doodle & Stitch – two therapy cats inspired by my real-life boys

  • and many more little characters as Tiny Whispers continues to grow.

Everything is hand-drawn with love and printed on the thick, sturdy card paper Tiny Whispers is known for — because if you’re going to colour for calm, your pages deserve to feel lovely too.
